ShieldQ for Healthcare is a cloud-based service that lets you accept and store faxes, emails, webforms and uploads containing medical information and personally identifiable information into a centralized, secured repository.

It’s easy.

  1. Register for ShieldQ for Healthcare’s various services. If you subscribe to fax and email services, you’ll receive dedicated numbers and email addresses, respectively. For webforms and upload forms, customize to suit your site’s look and feel.

  2. Provide this information to healthcare facilities you work with. Incoming documents will be available immediately in your centralized, HIPAA-compliant ShieldQ inbox.

  3. View incoming data, share, archive, store, retrieve and generally manage documents, from any device: desktop/tablet/smartphone.

Yes. ShieldQ for Healthcare stores data free for the first 12 months, using secure Amazon Web Services. If you want to extend storage, please see our price list.

 

ShieldQ for Healthcare allows users to define a specific storage policy for every document received.  Each incoming document can be assigned an attribute; e.g., clinic appointment.  The user can then specify a deletion date.

We are also PCI DSS Level 1 compliant, accredited independently by a qualified security assessor (QSA).

Under PCI DSS Level 1 version 3.1 terms, ShieldQ for Healthcare, a third-party service provider, takes full responsibility for the security of payment card data. 

We are also HIPAA compliant.

No. ShieldQ for Healthcare is cloud-based. All you need is a computer or mobile device, and an Internet connection.
