In order to receive faxes in ShieldQ, your fax number needs to be part of the ShieldQ system in order for us to "answer the call". You can choose one of the following options:

  • When you register to ShieldQ's inbound fax service, you will receive your own dedicated fax number within the ShieldQ system. You can then set up a call forwarding (this is done by your phone carrier) from your existing number to your new ShieldQ number. You can then ask your senders to send faxes to either your exiting number or your ShieldQ number. The ShieldQ number will be assigned to you and available for you to use as long as you are subscribed to the service.
